The son of Sousuke Kusanagi and Samantha (© as well as Ginta and Kaito's cousin and best friend, Vaan Kusanagi! Cute, isn't he? ¦D (Beware of the extra mark on his neck! It makes it look like his neck is too thin. I didn't even notice it before until after I scanned it XD; )

Vaan, like Ginta, is another unique one of the Twilight, but in a way much different than Ginta or Satoshi are. As the race of the Twilight is usually composed of angels and dragons, Vaan is actually the first phoenix to be born. (Second being his little sister Sheena) Why this is to be has not quite been revealed yet, but shall be in the near future of Vaan's current journey with Ginta and Kaito. (Meaning I haven't actually come up with a reason yet XD) Vaan's personality is everything but opposite of Ginta's. Vaan LOVES to fight and will take any chance he can to get into one. XD He's often very rude in aspects of respecting elders and such. He speaks formally with everybody without a second thought and usually friendly as well, though he has a VERY bad temper, like his father. XD Other than that though, he's actually a very nice guy, often sweet too, without realizing or meaning to be. His little sister Sheena is very clingy about him and loves him more than anything. She's very dependant on him and always runs to him whenever she needs help or is scared. You'll often find her clinged onto him while he walks around, if his girlfriend Sariel (© ) isn't already clung onto him. XD When travelling though, he's usually either along, or with Ginta and Kaito. Vaan weilds a large chained blade called Niflheim, but unfortunately I didn't have enough room or time to draw it in his left hand, which is why it's hanging down, open instead. Plus, if I had drawn it, most of the details on the sword would've been covered by his body. ¬ ¬ You'll find that Vaan is one of the only few people in the Kusanagi family who is ALWAYS wearing casual clothes, even on journey's and in battles. Vaan, like his dad and most Twilight, is actually even better in hand-to-hand combat than weaponry, but his sword also has a living spirit that comes out and sometimes takes physical form (same name as the sword), and she is just as clingy to him as his sister and girlfriend. XD

Now I actually finished this drawing about 4 or 5 days ago, but I forgot to scan it in. My bad folks XD Now, I shall begin coloring pics. I'm not sure which one I'll start with, probably Satoshi or Ginta, or maybe Maya ¦D
